Modern couples of today who are coping with their busy lifestyles and careers have the choice to call on the services of a wedding planner to take care of all the extra stress involved in planning their special day. Although, this is mostly a sensible and affordable option, many brides still argue that it is too expensive and they would rather be ‘hands on’ in planning their fairy-tale wedding. Some brides see wedding planners as more interfering than being supportive. These brides must remember that they will always get the final say in the decision making process. Besides, they can choose the level of involvement and support they will want from their wedding planner: full consulting, partial consulting, or “day of” coordination.

• What are your fees? (Hourly? Flat fee? Percentage?)
• What is included in your package?
• Do you have photos of any recent weddings you have planned?

If I had to do it all over again I would definitely choose to have a wedding planner. The always seem to be an asset and often are worth every penny.
