Trend Alert: Industrial Chic or Boho Glam

 Brass is here to stay!

One of the looks we are loving is the brass / old gold look of mismatched candlesticks and brass vessels. Whether it be used to bring an “Industrial Chic” or “Boho Glam” look to life, it makes for a beautiful tablescape. Mix and match your items and use bright, colourful flowers (like this year’s Marsala Pantone or deep plums and green colours, to compliment the brass) to provide accents. Tarnished brass provides a romantic, old world feeling and combined with mercury items such as candle holders, it will bring out the elegant industrial chic look.

How to Make a Floral Garland

We came across this lovely DIY garland tutorial on Free ThePeople and thought it was just too good not to share.

It’s also a great way of bringing in one of the hottest wedding trends (Number 5 Foliage Runners from Top Wedding Trends for 2015/2016) into your wedding without breaking the budget... and it looks amazing!

This garland runner is re-purposed as a table runner, backdrop and chair draping! We love this idea.

Use as chair decoration

Use as backdrop for photos
